The Explanations of the Buddha’s Title – “H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III”
On April 3, 2008, a solemn and dignified first-publishing ceremony of a fact-recording book entitled H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, which published jointly by the World Buddhism Publishing LLC and the World Dharma Voice, Inc., was held at the Library of the Congress of the United States. The book was also formally accepted into the collection of the Library of the Congress of the United States. Only since that time, did people in the world know that Master Wan Ko Yee, who had been broadly respected by the great masses and who had also been known as Great Dharma King Yangwo Yeshe Norbu, had been recognized by the world’s leaders, regent dharma kings, and great rinpoches of Buddhism through official documents as the third incarnation of Dorje Chang Buddha, who is the primordial Sambhogakaya Buddha of the universe. The Buddha’s name is H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III. Since then, people began to address His Holiness the Buddha by “Namo[1] Dorje Chang Buddha III.” This is similar to the situation that Sakyamuni Buddha’s name was Prince Siddhartha Gotama before attaining Buddhahood. However, after Sakyamuni Buddha had attained Buddhahood, His title changed to “Namo Sakyamuni Buddha.” That is why we now address His Holiness the Buddha as “H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III.”
In particular, on December 12, 2012, the Senate Resolution No. 614 of the United States Congress officially used “His Holiness” in the name addressing Dorje Chang Buddha III (That is to say, “H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III.”) Since then, the title and status of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III has been definitive by nature. And, as a matter of fact, “Dorje Chang Buddha III” is a name used legally in governmental and official legislative documents. Therefore, the previously used respected name and titles such as “Wan Ko Yee,” Great Master, and Great Dharma King no longer exist.
However, the news below was published before the Buddha’s title of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III was publicly announced. At that time, people did not know about the true status of His Holiness the Buddha. Therefore, to respect the true history, we still kept the names used before the title of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III was legitimately determined in republishing this news. However, all must clearly know that the only legitimate name of His Holiness the Buddha is H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III and all other names used before the legitimate determination no longer exist.

Royal Academy Of Arts Has The First Fellow
Awarded in Past More Than Two Hundred Years
On Feb. 10th, 2004 at the office of British Council in Washington DC Royal Academy Of Arts awarded Fellowship to Master Wan Ko Yee (H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III). Master Yee is a world-famous artist, a great Chinese painting artist, and the founder of Yun sculptures which are beyond natural beauty. The award of fellowship certificate and medal further confirmed Master’s extraordinary contribution to art of the whole world.
Royal Academy of Arts was founded by King George III in 1768. Up to now it has more than two hundred years history. It is a world-famous art institute. Many seasoned artists wish to pursue advanced study at this Academy. But this Academy admits only twenty extraordinary artists each year from all over the world to take courses for three years.
Professor Phillip King, President of Royal Academy Of Arts, announced during the award ceremony: Royal Academy Of Arts has a profound history. Today we are honored to award fellowship to the great artist and spiritual leader, Master Wan Ko Yee. This is a very important and honorable event of our Academy in the past more than two hundred years since our establishment. Therefore, Master Wan Ko Yee (H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III) is the extraordinary art figure that we have been searching in more than two hundred years since our establishment and could not find until today.
This is tremendous blessing of Royal Academy Of Arts. Our Academy has one hundred Royal Academicians, but there was no one who in the past more than two hundred years was awarded the above-mentioned Fellow. This noble position is awarded to only the most distinguished artist in the world.
Sir David Manning, Ambassador of United Kingdom to the United States, accompanied by Professor Phillip King and Professor Brendan Neiland, Keeper of Royal Academy Of Arts, met with Master Wan Ko Yee (H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III) and his wife Professor Yuhua Wang. Sir David Manning showed his respect for the achievement of Master Wan Ko Yee and congratulated him for receiving such an honor. Mr. Andy Mackay, Director of Culture Department, The British Embassy attended the award ceremony today.

The Painting at the Price of 900,000 US Dollars Was Not Sold
AN auction held by International Buddhism Sangha Association took place on February 7, 2007 in San Francisco. Three Chinese paintings were displayed. One of the paintings entitled “Two Flowers; One Lotus Capsule; One Dharma Nature” was sold at 300,000 US dollars per square foot.
The world renowned Great Buddhist Dharma King Wan Ko Yeshe Norbu (H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III) (also known as the great artist Master Wan Ko Yee) donated three valuable paintings as gifts to International Buddhism Sangha Association. At the time of the auction of these three paintings more than 10 people expressed an interest in buying them. After several competitive bidding rounds, the lotus painting was sold to an English collector Ian Hamilton at the price of US$300,000 per square foot. Another painting, “Plum Blossoms”, was sold at US$210,000 per square foot. However, the most anticipated painting, “Pasture in Spring (a shepherd boy herding cattle)”, was not sold at this time. “ Pasture in Spring ” was considered the most valuable of the three donated paintings. Even though the buyer raised the price to US$540,000 per square foot, the seller insisted that the price cannot be below US$900,000 per square foot. Therefore, this transaction was not completed because of the great difference between the prices.

For the sake of advocating Buddha-dharma and promoting sacred Buddhist affairs, the International Buddhism Sangha Association has decided to make three valuable paintings donated to the Association available for purchase. A sales event will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Hua Zang Si in San Francisco. All proceeds received will be used for the benefits of living beings.
The first painting: Pasture in Spring (a shepherd boy pasturing cattle). US$900,000. - per sq. ft.
The second painting: Two Flowers; One Lotus Capsule; One Dharma Nature (Lotus). US$300,000 -per sq. ft. (Please note that the price per sq. ft. previously posted on 1/15/2007 has been corrected.)
The third painting: Plum Blossoms, US$210,000 - per sq. ft. (Please note that the price per sq. ft. previously posted on 1/15/2007 has been corrected.)
There will be an on-site notary public providing related notary services for the proof of each purchase.

關於“第三世多杰羌佛”佛號的說明 二零零八年四月三日，由全球佛教出版社和世界法音出版社出版的《多杰羌佛第三世》記實一書在美國國會圖書館舉行了莊嚴隆重的首發儀式，美國國會圖書館並正式收藏此書，自此人們才知道原來一直廣受大家尊敬的義雲高大師、仰諤益西諾布大法王，被世界佛教各大教派的領袖或攝政王、大活佛行文認證，就是宇宙始祖報身佛多杰羌佛的第三世降世，佛號為第三世多杰羌佛，從此，人們就以“南無第三世多杰羌佛”來稱呼了。這就猶如釋迦牟尼佛未成佛前，其名號為悉達多太子，但自釋迦牟尼佛成佛以後，就改稱“南無釋迦牟尼佛”了，所以，我們現在稱“南無第三世多杰羌佛”。尤其是，二零一二年十二月十二日，美國國會參議院第614號決議正式以His Holiness來冠名第三世多杰羌佛（即 H.H.第三世多杰羌佛），從此南無第三世多杰羌佛的稱位已定性。而且，第三世多杰羌佛也是政府法定的名字，以前的“義雲高”和大師、總持大法王的尊稱已經不存在了。但是，這個新聞是在南無第三世多杰羌佛佛號未公佈之前刊登的，那時人們還不瞭解佛陀的真正身份，所以，為了尊重歷史的真實，我們在新聞中仍然保留未法定第三世多杰羌佛稱號前所用的名字，但大家要清楚，除H.H.第三世多杰羌佛的名字是合法的以外，在未法定之前的名字已經不存在了。

(本報華盛頓報導)英國皇家藝術學院於美東時間十日在美國首都華盛頓英國駐美國大使館，爲世界著名的藝術大家，中國畫巨匠，超越自然美的韻雕的創始人義雲高大師頒授「 Fellowship」職稱，當場授以證章與證書，推崇義大師對世界藝術的卓越貢獻。
皇家藝術學院的主席菲力浦.金 PHILIP KING在頒證致詞中宣布：英國皇家藝術學院有著悠久的歷史，能夠榮幸地爲偉大的藝術家和精神領袖義雲高大師授稱Fellowship，是該院二百多年來一件非常重要和光榮的事情，也是該院成立二百多年來第一次授稱的Fellowship，義雲高大師是英國皇家藝術學院建院二百多年來一直期待而未能獲得的傑出藝術人物，今天終於獲得，這是皇家藝術學院一大幸事，該院擁有院士一百名，但是二百多年來一直沒有人擔任上述Fellow，義雲高大師是第一位Fellow，這一崇高職稱是爲世界最傑出著名的藝術家授稱的。

义云高（H.H. 第三世多杰羌佛） 法王级显密圆通大师
【记者林荣俊台北报导】被联合国际世界佛教总部公推为正宗佛教法王级显密圆通大师的义云高（H.H. 第三世多杰羌佛）谦虚地表示，自己仅拥有「惭愧自省、 应无所往」，与部分自我膨涨的所谓大师相较，佛教界人士对他的泰然处之给予高度评价。
有二千多位佛教高僧、各派別领导人参与的国际佛教大会日前在圆山饭店召开，会中对当前多位知名人士做了臧否认定，经过详细深入讨论后认定义云高（H.H. 第三世多杰羌佛）为正宗佛教法王级显密圆通大师。
不过，与某些所谓佛学大师比较，义云高大师（H.H. 第三世多杰羌佛）对这项殊荣的反应是「自己是学佛的惭愧行者J 。
三藏高僧大藏大师五月二十二日参拜了义云高大师（H.H. 第三世多杰羌佛），提了一些问题请求开示时，义云高大师（H.H. 第三世多杰羌佛）对他说，联合国际世界佛教总部召开正邪研讨会，大会授与他佛教大师的称号，「我受之有愧」。
他说，「大家说我是法王高僧，我只能说我不是法王，也不是高僧，更不是居士，人也不是我」。也许有人说奇怪了，明明是一个人，竟然说什么也不是？到底是什么东西呢？「东西也不是，但我必须说我是学佛的惭愧行者，这就是我，我也非我，是名为我」。
对各界对他画作高度评价，他说，「画艺本来无止境的，弄弄笔墨算得了什么？无非也是 梦幻泡影而已，有何价值可赞？但我确实拥有，我的拥有只有八个字 :「惭愧自省，应无所住」。说我法王高僧， 贬我贫居寡士，没有笑容，也没有愁态，我还是我，了了如是」。
